Today, Dr. Kaviphone Phouthavong, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Laos, Liu Jia (General Manager of SAS HYS), Liang Zhongde (Deputy General Manager of Dalian Agricultural and Fishery Industry Group Co., Ltd.), and Li Rong (General Manager of Dalian Agricultural, Fishery & Haiyue International Trade Co., Ltd.) paid a visit to Qicai Seed Industry. Accompanied by Professor Gong Qingli, Chairman of Qicai Seed Industry, the delegation conducted in-depth exchanges focusing on the technologies of fully artificial fish breeding and land-based recirculating aquaculture.

The production workshop offered a straight forward view of land-based recirculating aquaculture in action, including the rearing environment of high-quality fish fry and their growth status. This helped the guests gain a much more real sense of how recirculating aquaculture technology is applied.

At the symposium, Professor Gong further combined academic research with corporate operation experience to systematically introduce Qicai Seed Industry’s technology RAS and development history. The team has bred superior fish populations with strong stress resistance and fast growth rate through precise cultivation, significantly improving aquaculture efficiency. Meanwhile, the land-based recirculating aquaculture technology, featuring core characteristics of water and energy conservation as well as controllable environment, provides practical references for the green transformation and upgrading of aquaculture.

 Kaviphone Phouthavong pointed out that Laos'agricultural sector currently has an urgent demand for high-quality seedlings and advanced aquaculture technologies. Through this visit, he gained a more intuitive understanding of Qicai Seed Industry's technological strength, which also laid a solid foundation for exploring future cooperation between the two parties. Combining the actual development of Dalian's local aquatic industry, Liang Zhongde and Li Rong conducted in-depth exchanges on the application scenarios and market potential of relevant technologies. From an international perspective, Liu Jia shared experiences and feasible paths for the cross-border promotion of aquatic technologies. This visit and exchange effectively demonstrated Qicai Seed Industry's development advantages, built a communication platform for further cooperation among all parties, and expanded potential cooperation space.
