It is worth noting that this is the first national meeting held on the theme of facility agriculture, and it is also the first time in the history of Qingdao to host a national work conference on agriculture and rural areas attended by ministers, and its high specifications and significance are self-evident. The meeting was held in Qingdao Laixi, which is not only a demonstration of the development strength of Qingdao facility agriculture, but also an affirmation and incentive for the construction of modern facility agriculture in Qingdao.

Modern agriculture is no longer slash-and-burn or traditional planting. Qingdao is exploring a way to build a strong agricultural city in developed coastal areas. It has a group of low-carbon, high-yield, intelligent and efficient modern facility agriculture, which has become a "bonus item" of Qingdao agriculture.

In fact, facility agriculture is a concentrated embodiment of Qingdao to build a strong city of modern agriculture. As a major economic and agricultural city, Qingdao firmly establishes the concept of big food and takes the development of modern facility agriculture as an important starting point for building a strong agricultural city. The stable production and supply system supported by "36111" (annual output of more than 3 million tons of grain, more than 6 million tons of vegetables, more than 1 million tons of meat, eggs and milk, about 1 million tons of aquatic products, and more than 1 million tons of fruit) has been continuously improved, and the ability to guarantee important agricultural products ranks first among 36 large and medium-sized cities in China. The export value of agricultural products has been ranked first in the national city for many consecutive years, and it has obtained the excellent evaluation grade of the national "vegetable basket" mayor responsibility system for two consecutive rounds.

During the promotion meeting, the participants went deep into the modern facility agriculture production site in Laixi City to investigate the new changes in facility agriculture under different scenarios such as planting and breeding.

With a total investment of 640 million yuan, Laixi Kaisheng Haofeng Digital Agriculture Demonstration Park has two smart greenhouses covering an area of 210 acres, and adopts domestic ultra-white anti-reverse shadowless glass to achieve precise control of digital elements, and accumulates more than 1,300 new farmers with modern facilities. As a model of the integrated development of facility agriculture and digital agriculture, with the Laixi Base as its headquarters, 14 bases have been copied and built across the country, radiating the development of facility agriculture in 17 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.

Qingdao Qicai Seed Technology Co., Ltd. is a typical representative of the facility fishery. After all the production, it can produce 50 million high-end fish fry and 500 tons of commercial fish every year, achieving an output value of 250 million yuan. The project uses the restoration and construction of abandoned mines, the aquaculture technology is at the international leading level, the aquaculture water comes from the natural storage water of the mine, basically realizing the full recycling of water resources, and the net profit of 2 million yuan per mu can be achieved.

Yipin (Qingdao) Goat Milk Products Co., LTD., with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, is the largest single production factory of sheep milk powder in China. Qingdao area mainly raises Laoshan dairy goats with a stock of more than 10,000 animals, and the annual average milk production is 1.5 times that of ordinary dairy goats. Technology has enabled the traditional dairy industry to manage 1,000 sheep per person. Driven more than 500 villagers engaged in dairy sheep farming, the purchase price of fresh milk is 1.5 yuan to 2 yuan higher than the market purchase price.

Laixi City Shuiji Street Maozhichang modern facilities Agricultural Industrial Park is a typical representative of the village party organization led farmers cooperatives to promote industrial revitalization, the cultivation and development of grape growing greenhouse 1200 acres, annual sales of 120 million yuan, increase the village collective income of more than 3 million yuan a year, continuous rain shelter greenhouse is the most advanced viticulture model in the north.
