Arnstein Hosaas, Chief Innovation Officer of Norway's AKVA Group, and his delegation paid a visit to Qicai Seed Industry to discuss cooperation.
Accompanied by Professor Gong Qingli, Chairman of Qicai Seed Industry, the AKVA delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s production operations and conducted on-site observations of the seed breeding and aquaculture sites for Murray cod and salmon. Subsequently, the delegation was provided with detailed insights into Qicai’s innovatively developed“Super Fish Bowl”land-based recirculating aquaculture system. Arnstein Hosaas and his entourage showed great interest in Qicai’s technological achievements in the field of land-based recirculating aquaculture and spoke highly of them.
At the symposium, both parties discussed the future of land-based recirculating aquaculture and achieved fruitful exchange results. Professor Gong Qingli expressed his expectation of leveraging international experience to optimize China’s land-based aquaculture model, with a focus on species such as salmon. Arnstein Hosaas, representative of AKVA Group, responded that the group will fully promote in-depth sharing of practical experience. This exchange not only focused on assessing technological potential and market prospects but also directly addressed the core issues in China’s current industrial development. Both parties jointly discussed forward-looking development plans, laying a foundation for win-win cooperation.
